Freyja Wood is a San Francisco-based writer and educator. She spent the whole of 1991-2000 with her head stuck inside of books. This led her to have a life-long love of YA literature and a flat, rectangular face. In college, she studied International Relations, so of course she now works as an art teacher. After some cursory forays into print and radio journalism, she admitted to herself that what she really wanted to do is write Young Adult novels.
